DESCRIPTION:Chandrima Neogy was born in Montreal\, Quebec and raised in Mississauga by two hard working immigrant parents. Chandrima is a York University graduate\, Sheridan College grad with honours in Justice Studies and Corrections and Trios College grad with honours in the Paralegal program with honours. Chandrima has worked as a correctional office in both young offenders facilities as well as male maximum security security facilities. She has gained extensive knowledge in civil litigation\, small claims\, family law however specializing more in criminal law. Chandrima has ascended to working within the Ministry of Attorney General as a court registrar being expose wo numerous high profile criminal cases as well as working directly with top ranking judges and attorneys. Chandrima is still a resident of Mississauga and a single mother who still pursues higher knowledge and learning experiences within the criminal law system.

DESCRIPTION:Kavita V. Bhagat practices exclusively in the area of family law and deals with a wide range of family law issues including the negotiation\, mediation\, arbitration and/or litigation of parenting and residential arrangements\, child and spousal support\, property division and the preparation of domestic contracts. She is a certified Family Law Specialist; an accredited Family Mediator\, Arbitrator\, Parenting Coordinator and a former Panel Lawyer for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. \n\n\n\nKavita is also a Coach and Advisor for the Law Society of Ontario and Legal Aid Ontario. She is a former board member of the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and past-President of the Peel Chapter of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation. She is the treasurer of Peel Mediation Arbitration and currently sits on the board of Volunteer Mississauga Brampton Caledon & Caledon Parent and Child Centre. \n\n\n\nKavita is a regular presenter for the Ontario Justice Education Network\, Mandatory Information Program in Brampton Court\, Catholic Cross Cultural Centre\, Canadian Council of Muslim Women and various Continuing Professional Development programs. I have been actively involved in mentoring young lawyers\, law clerks\, high school students and new immigrants. Many of who have utilized my training to establish their own successful practices or careers at prominent firms across the Greater Toronto Area. \n\n\n\nAn experienced litigator\, Kavita has years of experience in helping her clients identify their desired outcomes and pursue that goal using the most appropriate legal mechanism. While she is a strong proponent of alternate dispute resolution she recognizes that not all cases can be settled. Kavita is recognized among her peers for her ability to successfully conclude seemingly un-resolvable situations as an arbitrator and mediator and as a litigation lawyer with a proven track record.
